Breakfast smoothies are my favorite way to start a morning. Not only is it something refreshing that will help wake me up, but it is a great way to get my digestive system going. Usually on Saturdays I frequent my local famers market to find some pretty cheap fruit. I like buying fresh whole pineapples and other fruit that I can cut up and freeze myself. Get ready for a smoothie recipe that is going to change your life!
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 Cup Frozen Strawberries
- 1/4 Cup Frozen Pineapples
- 1/4 Cup Frozen Raspberries
- 1/4 Cup Frozen Blackberries
- Handful of Frozen Blueberries
- Handful of Frozen Mangos
- 1/4 Cup Fresh Chopped Coconut
- 1/2 Cup of Almond Milk
- 1/2 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
- Ice based on desired taste
Get your blender ready to swirl all of those ingredients. I recommend using frozen fruit because I don’t like my smoothies to be “icy” and taste watered down. Fruit naturally has a lot of water in it. So as you are blending your smoothie together, if it is too thick then just add more almond milk to thin it. Enjoy!
