Supplements are sometimes seemed as tabu in the vegan community. As if making sure you received all of the nutrients from a processed pill or powder is the worst thing you could do. However, isn’t not knowing your body is getting all of the nutrients it needs with or without meat crucial to your health?
Starting to take vitamins shouldn’t be something people do just on vegan or plant-based diets, it should be everyone who isn’t getting all of the nutrients they need on a daily bases. For example, “Over a billion people worldwide are vitamin D deficient or insufficient.(1)” Shocking right?
